Mission Statement

Schiffert Health Center’s mission is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, accessible, cost-effective, and culturally competent medical care and health promotion for Virginia Tech students.

In support of Virginia Tech’s mission to educate the whole person, Schiffert Health Center promotes the current and future wellbeing of our student-patients through the provision of nationally accredited health care and health education to promote healthy lifestyles. Our services are cost-effective and responsive to student needs so as to reduce the impact of illness and other health concerns on student success at Virginia Tech.
