Clinical Assistant Position

We are no longer accepting applicants for the Spring 2026 Clinical Assistant position. 

Schiffert Health Center provides an opportunity for students to work aside our medical staff. 

We are looking for students that are interested in a career in medicine and would like a place to start. This is a perfect opportunity to find clinical hours for a higher, professional health school or program. As a clinical assistant, you will see patients [students] and examine general information and vitals before seating them into the consultation room to meet with a Schiffert provider. 

This application is open to anyone, but we are particularly looking for individuals with backgrounds and certifications in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Certified Medical Assistants (CMA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), etc. Certifications are not needed but preferred (if you have other experiences).

This is a paid position and we are looking for individuals to work during the Fall and Spring semesters each year. We expect students to commit to a morning or afternoon shifts (each being 4 hours) and work 4-16 hours a week. Lastly, whatever schedule is committed, we expect consistent loyalty to the time committed.
