Schiffert Health Center Student Observation Program

Schiffert Health Center Student Observation Program provides an opportunity for students to obtain shadowing hours with our on-campus clinicians and nurses. Students will gain an insight of the clinical operation of a healthcare setting and will gain a sense of the value of teamwork. Students will be in the generalized medicine clinic giving an opportunity to observe a variety of medical issues, care, and treatment.

Students accepted into the program will be able to observe up to 4 hours per week with the opportunity to shadow different providers. This is a shadowing and learning experience, not a paid position or internship. The observation program will run for the entirety of the semester.
