Benjamin Davis, M.D.

Staff Physician

Dr. Davis completed a Bachelor’s in Science dual degree in biology and psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. He then attended UCLA for a Master’s in Public Health with a specialization in biostatistics. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine in 2005, and proceeded to Residency training through the Virginia Tech-Carilion Family Medicine program. He worked at Carilion Clinic for 12 years as a Hospitalist under the Department of Medicine, and for 6 as a Wound Care specialist under the Department of Surgery. He is an Assistant Professor at the Virginia Tech-Carilion School of Medicine, where he has been involved in teaching students and residents within Family Medicine, Wound Care, and the Wilderness Medicine Fellowship program.

His areas of interest include wound care, as well as migraine headaches, substance abuse, eating disorders, and trauma.

Dr. Davis lives in Roanoke with his wife and 3 daughters. He enjoys lacrosse, backpacking, foraging and hunting, and finding new things to “make from scratch” with his family and adventurous friends.
