Flu Shot & COVID-19 Booster Clinic

Schiffert Health Center will host the Walk-In Flu Shot Clinic on October 16, 2026 in the Owens Ballroom from 10AM to 6PM and October 23, 2026 in War Memorial from 10AM to 6PM. Flu vaccine will be provided by our partner Blacksburg Pharmacy. Only injectable vaccine options will be available. The clinic is open to students, faculty, staff, and the community.

  • Trivalent flu and COVID-19 vaccines will be available.
  • Students under the age of 18 must have their vaccine immunization form (located in the sidebar of this page) signed by a parent or guardian in order to receive the flu vaccination.
  • Individuals who feel sick or are experiencing symptoms of influenza or COVID-19 should not attend the event.

Blacksburg Pharmacy will be accepting U.S. insurance carriers. Attendees are responsible for checking that the flu shot will be covered by their insurance plan. Kaiser Permanente and out-of-state insurance providers may have coverage restrictions. Please have your insurance card ready at check-in. Those without insurance, can pay out-of-pocket - $45 for the trivalent vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine will be $145. Only cash or credit card will be accepted.

Attendees are encouraged to print and fill-out the following forms before attending to save time. Forms will also be available at the event.
